The Israel Democracy Institute
The Israel Democracy Institute - IDI - is a social research institute. Its goals are to promote reforms and improvements in Israeli political life.
Guttman Center
The IDI Guttman Institute boasts the largest and highest quality data base in Israel on public opinion since the establishment of the State. It includes approximately 1,200 studies conducted since its establishment in 1947 and up until this very day. These studies are of great importance as they have accompanied each year of Israel's statehood. The complex set of difficulties with which Israel has had to - and continues to – cope, and its large variety of achievements are expressed in these studies: the large waves of immigration, the economic austerity versus periods of flourishing of the Israeli market, years of war versus efforts to make peace.
