Digital Gallery

The University of Haifa recently began a project of digitizing its Rare Books Collection. The aim of the project is to preserve unique and rare publications, and enable free access to these works. Scanning the books will make them avaliable to the public worldwide, any time and any place.
The beginning of the digitization project was enabled by donations from Prof. Amihud Gilead and the Research Authority of the University of Haifa.
We greatfully acknowledge the generous support of the digitization project enabled by the donation of the Spitz Family in memory of Rivka Spitz, 1947-1994, librarian, book lover, friend.
We wish to thank the staff of the Jewish National Library who, in recognition of the value of this endeavor, contributed their expertise at the inception of this important project.
