Learning Center for the Visually Impaired

A study room equipped with computers, special computer software
and other peripheral equipment such as magnifying equipment,
Braille screen and printer, a scanner and a reading aloud program.
It was established in the library in 2000, for the benefit of visually
impaired students.
The students participate special training lessons in the use of computers
and computer software.
The center was established by Aleh organization with the assistance of:
The National Insurance Institute of Israel, The Sacta-Rashi Foundation,
The Arrison Foundation. Aleh organization and the library equipment staff
are in charge of the center's maintenance. In 2010, two additional rooms
were added to thecenter.
