Home Delivery of Books and Photocopies

What is the "Home Delivery" service?

The "Home Delivery" service enables University of Haifa students and faculty to order books, articles (including the table of contents) from the University library collection and to receive them at home by courier or e-mail.

What can I order?
Books:
You can order a book from the General Collection (not Reserves). Books are loaned for 14 days and are renewed according to the library's standard renewal procedure. The delivery time of a book that is on loan to another reader depends on the date he/she returns the book. If a book is not on the shelf, you will be notified by e-mail. You are responsible for returning loaned book/s on time. There is a fine for overdue books
Articles or Book Chapters:
You can order journal articles and book chapters from the University of Haifa library collection. You will receive the scan/s as a link by e-mail according to the limitation of the Copyright Law.

How much does the Home Delivery service cost?
Books:
45 NIS for parcels up to 30 kg.
Articles:
15 NIS. per article

How should I pay for the "Home Delivery" service?

You should pay for the service by credit card online via the link that will be sent to you by email once the scan is completed / the book is ready to be sent.
Faculty can request to debit their research budget or salary.


How should I place an order
?

Books:
You should place an order via the "OneSearch" system and wait until you receive notification by e-mail that the book is waiting to be collected at the Circulation Desk. Then contact the Interlibrary Loan Team to coordinate payment and shipping.

?

Books: 5-10 days
Articles: up to 2 working days
