Open Access Publishing

We are delighted to announce that the library and MALMAD (the Inter-University Center for Digital Information) have reached an agreement with Cambridge University Press and The Company of Biologists, whereby university researchers are eligible to publish Open Access articles in their journals with no additional charge.
Any article published under this agreement will be open and accessible to the public. Find out more about the MALMAD OA Agreement

University of Haifa researchers are not required to take any special action while submitting an article for publication. When an article is accepted for publication via the regular publication track, the authors are asked if they wish to publish it OA. In this case, all that is required is to confirm the offer and the article is then forwarded for OA publishing automatically. Faculty are requested to use their institutional email address when submitting an article to the publisher's system so they may be associated with the university.

The list of Cambridge University Press journals included in this agreement can be found in the attached Excel file.
A brief description of the Open Access publishing process with Cambridge can be found here.
