Text Panes

Search results can be viewed in multiple versions at the same time by opening new Text panes in the Search tabThe core tab used to search Bible texts, it consists of a search entry area and a search results area. The top of each text pane displays the same verse in the search results.

You can open as many text panes as will fit in the workspace. If no more panes can be fit in the first row, the next pane opens in a second row below the first.

To open a new text pane:

1. On the Hit Options bar, click Add Parallel. A pop-up menu appears.
2. On the Add Parallel pop-up menu click Texts and choose the desired Text moduleAny Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content.
3. A new text pane appears in the Search tab showing all the verses found by the search (provided those verses are in the new version).
4. The modules are listed in the pop-up menu in the same order as in the Library.
