The collection of the month, from the Ezra Najat Haim Archive, presents an exceptional series of illustrations from 1942, created by the Egyptian cartoonist Kimon Evan Marengo (\u201cKem\u201d), who worked in the service of the British during World War II. The series is based on scenes from the Persian epic Shahnameh<\/em> (The Book of Kings), and blends an ancient mythological world with a turbulent political reality, offering an allegorical depiction of the rise and fall of Hitler.
