Several tools are available to help you get the most out of your Bible study. These tools are geared particularly at grammatically tagged text and text with Key numbers. However, some can be used with any language. All these tools are accessed via the Amplify menu or Workspace toolbar. Simply select the text you want to study more closely, and click the desired item. You can:
Parse a Text Selection (Grammatically Tagged or Key Number Texts only): The Instant Details displays additional information about any word in a text with Strong's numbers, or any word in a grammatically tagged Greek or Hebrew text. However, sometimes this information is wanted for more than simply one word. You can amplifyTo select words or a verse reference in a text pane, and then pick the resource from the Resource palette or Amplify menu; Accordance opens the associated resource with your selection any text selection to a Parse tab to view all this information in one spot, for each selected word.
Diagram any Text Selection: Diagramming is a great way to break down a passage's flow of thought by grouping and arranging the various words and phrases according to their function in a sentence. You can Amplify a text selection to make a diagram of the sentence.
Create Word Charts: Another way to examine the meaning of a passage is by creating a Word chart. The Word chart aids Biblical exegesis by encouraging you to analyze each word's syntactical function as well as its form. You can amplify any text to a Word chart.
