             EndNote and EndNoteWeb

are programs designed to do the following:

    * Import data files saved from a variety of online services, CD-ROMs,
    and other library databases.

    *
Store, manage and search for bibliographic references in a private
reference library. It enables organizing images including charts, figures
and equations with a caption and your keywords.
    * Format citations and figures in MS-Word, according to manuscript
requirements of publishers (or desired citation style).
    * Search (only through local EndNote) our various online databases through
a simple but uniform interface, and retrieve the references directly into Endnote.

    Comparison between EndNote and EndNoteWeb

    EndNote Web advantages:
    * personal material/information availability from every computer connected to the internet
    * automatic update of the filter files (as well as connection files, however check the
      disadvantages list for limitation).

    EndNote Web disadvantages:
    * Storage capacity of maximum 10,000 records
    * searching from EndNoteWeb through the connection files is possible only for the free
databases such as PubMed and ISI databases (Biosis - web of science). For non-ISI
for-fee databases there are no connection files fitted to our profile at EndNoteWeb.
