During the meeting, the two discussed AI, the challenges facing Israel’s Christian community, Prof. Maroun’s life in Isfiya, and the spirit of coexistence on the University’s campus – which His Holiness acknowledged and commended. 
As a token of appreciation, Prof. Maroun presented His Holiness with books from the University’s Younes and Soraya Nazarian Library. These specific volumes were selected from the Order of Saint Augustine, to which he belongs.
